What happens in a consultation
Everyone has their own personal style in the world of color analysis. There are a few systems of color analysis that are available out there. I am personally trained in the London College of Style using the four season color analysis method - a holistic system that combines genetics, personality and color psychology.
I have since learned a lot about since graduating from the course and have developed my own personal preference and experience.
The analysis starts with a welcome drink and short talk to see where the client is at in their knowledge of color analysis. I need to know what the needs of the client are and how much they know about the system.
If needed, I will do a short informative presentation about the most common used terminology, which you can find in this blog post.
After that we can finally get to the fun part, the draping! We start off by looking at different color temperature drapes to see if the client is a cool or warm skin tone. It usually become clear very soon which colors are better than others.
Once the client and I have found the correct season, we pick which colors are their absolute best. While I believe the seasonal color analysis method has great merit, I think individual color palette are a great advantage as every human had a different combination of personal colors. We choose the colors that are best and then I give the client their pallette along with other printed materials and online as a digital swatch pallette.
If the client wants a wardrobe and makeup review I can do that at the end of the session. We can go through some example makeup or wardrobe items and see which ones fall within the client's personal pallette.
The client has the right to ask follow-up questions 20 days after the consultation, because I know that some questions only arise after you go shopping.
If you would like to know your season and most importantly, your personal color pallette, book a session with me in Sofia or online through this link.
